  1. Well crud. I’ve been looking at Scotty stuff for a bit to put a rod holder and whatnot on my Gili adventures. Reading Amazon reviews a lot of folks mention no screws. Sorry not finding anything either about what size.

  2. Yeah, there seems to be shockingly little information on it... you'd hope Gili's website would have some vague mention of the kind of scotty mount specifically on the board, or maybe what's required to do the mount but no dice.  So far the only MAYBE hit I have is  1/4 20 x 7/8", but I have no idea if that's specifically talking about the ones local to our Adventures or just general scotty products, which is preventing me from blind buying it online

  3. Hey Any updates? I’ve been having the same exact issues these past couple of weeks. I’m in the process of emailing with Capcom support to see if there’s some kind of minor bug fix that’s needed or something. I’ve tried literally everything and none of it helped. And it’s isolated to Rise too, all of my other online games work swimmingly. But honestly I think it’s out of my hands at this point. This is super frustrating. I hope it gets fixed.

  4. Man, I totally forgot to put an update! I did actually wind up fixing it with a good bit of headache by the end of things! There were two possible fixes that did it, so I can't guarantee which one it was as I did them both in the same swoop. I cleared the data cache of the Nintendo Switch in the settings menu, erasing all login information, and I did a full power reset of my router. Once I turned the power back on, Rise was working just like it'd used to in terms of connection, no more of that same error style

  5. I hope it did some good! It was the only thing that solved my dilemma :c

  6. I literally can't go without them now lmfao. Truly my now multispecies goto

  7. He told me, himself! "We can't keep meeting like this bro, I gots a wife 'n kid now"

  8. I think I can just parrot and say what alot of the other guys are saying, in that it's one half because many of our fish are predatory and prefer chasing actively moving targets, with a box of 12 or so solid nice lures being much easier to carry and handle than a bucket of Minnows. And for me the biggest part of it, is that I just find more joy in actively working a Lure. It's a certain thrill akin to acting, where you have to make that presentation not only be accurate, but consistent the whole retrieve rather than watching a bobber or listening for a bell lol

  9. Might be a pumpkin gill. My friend caught a few like this out of a small river. Very beautiful fish

  10. That's all I can think of too, with what's in the water here. No matter what, it was brilliant pulling it out of the water

  11. Definitely pumpkin seed hybrid with maybe green sunfish. But dang! Nice catch!

  12. It's pretty cool to just think of how wildly different the genetics can wind up looking in the end!

  13. Your first fish looks to be a hybrid of Bluegill x Longear Sunfish possibly, but Pumpkinseed could also be in the mix if you’re within their range

  14. We don't actually have Longears up here, it's only really Gills and Pumpkinseeds in the Massachussets range

  15. Oh, perfect then. Bluegill x PSeed. This is why location information is necessary in fish ID

  16. Definitely! Anything to do with Pumpkins winds up beautiful

  17. This is the exact issue I'm having, and it has seemingly only started after installing Sunbreak. I would love any updates positive or negative, because I'm feeling pretty salty about buying the dlc so far now lmao

  18. A fellow hardbait lover too I see. My box is 90% jerkbaits, the most fun/satisfying lure invented

  19. You know it! I think the only true soft plastics I ever employ are just Trout Magnets, and Frogs technically lol. Otherwise, it's nothing but metal, wood, and the hard stuff plastics for me.

  20. These were all up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire! Close to the Franconia Notch flume, but a good bit off the beaten trail

  21. We've definitely got them in up in Massachussets here, off of just about any rocky jetty at night the 40 inchers are lurking, most are definitely these little dinks tho. I run appropriate gear for them and they're wonderful~

  22. Heck yeah man. I just went with a friend in Rhode Island recently and caught a few same size. Never been saltwater fishing before, I only have bass equipment. Man are they fun. Makes me want to buy saltwater stuff and get out there

  23. Seriously! Grab yourself something like a Penn Pursuit or similar size, a Super Spook Jr in bone white, and just let the top water explosions keep coming

  24. You are absolutely slaying 'em!!! What time was this roughly?

  25. Thanks. We've got 5 fish in 2 days. Didn't get cheated on any.

  26. I may be down there around 9-10 honestly, I've had about 5 bass every night around the Coast Guard building and behind Minglewood, and I'm ready to transition to the beaches something fierce

  27. What were these little guys caught on? I live up near gloucester and would absolutely love to target some Chogs!

  28. Yeah I got this one on 4” gulp but up north I don’t think any summer flounder make there way up so I’d try worms or clams

  29. I think that's the big problem, I'm an Artificials only kind of guy, and everybody throws clams on double fish finder rigs. I tried the Gulp sandworms/bloodworms last season with the same rigging and had not a thing to show for it

  30. Are you throwing them into the surf or fishing from jetties and the like?

  31. I've been hitting every single beach from Good Harbor, to Wingarshaek, and All along the Boulevard with nothing to show for it but plenty of healthy schoolies, and I've yet to see ANY beasts like this so far! What was this beast on

  32. Winga. Chunk mackerel lazy fishing from shore.

  33. I'm eagerly awaiting my first mackerel on the diamond jig of the year, as soon as they arrive you'll see me out there

  34. They are fun to catch especially when they breach

  35. I love any fish where as soon as you get the hookset, you know what it is you have on the line just because of the crazy muscles they're packing

  36. Are these edible? We have them in the gulf but usually filled with worms, not sure if it’s bc our waters are much warmer.

  37. They definitely are, but I'm sure mileage varies from region to region! My grandma in North Carolina used to basically pan fry it like bluegill or bake it until its hyper bony interior was no longer an issue

  38. You must have been doing something wrong then😬😅

  39. It's important to bear in mind I was also working like 60 hours a week at the time and could absolutely not dedicate that time to unlocking things at the rate the game required you to earn the ingame credits at xD

  40. Minecraft and Animal Crossing are two of my favorites when I can’t get out on the water.

  41. Absolutely! I'd say Animal Crossing is probably a huge contributor to kids and adults both picking up their first little Walmart combo and going on the hunt for what'll most likely be their very first bluegill lol.

  42. Scup are just a northeastern nickname for Porgy, which is not this sadly

  43. They're Cunner, also known as Bergall in some areas. Super super closely related to Tautaug (same family) and have shockingly delicious meat when treated as a panfish

  44. Crushed barbs are great and all, but rapala chuckers have no place in a native brookie stream

  45. I'm probably not bringing it back up to those particular falls at least for that area honestly, as I was more intending to just bring the ultralite setup to a lake up further in the trailhead. I just casted into the first pool while my party took a break and the next couple magic hours happened all on their own. I'm going to go with a paired back couple gnats and elk hairs next time.

  46. I suppose it depends on your point of view. The fish would probably have a different argument than us, but there are things in the water that would gladly eat humans when given the chance.

  47. This is about par for the course what I'd say. I fish first and foremost as a means of getting a small glimpse at something that's a whole world apart from mine before seeing it go back the same way it came. It's pretty easy to say that putting a hook in said majestic creature and cranking it in is certainly inhumane, and I think any point for that would be valid, but I also am a pretty heavily learned future Marine biologist to be (hopefully). these are strong beasts that can take what most honest catch and release entails, with very minimal wear and tear to their life longevity if treated properly. Many fisherman and wildlife regulations go a long way towards maintaining healthy populations and ecosystems for fish, going so far as to provide man-made habitats for many species to thrive in
